Biography

Thank you for viewing my e-portfolio! I am from Fairfax, Virginia, and I am also from Sudan. I am currently a sophomore studying Business Marketing and minoring in Public Relations. I am currently involved in multiple on-campus organizations. I am the Event Coordinator for the Horn of Africa Student Association and a general body member of many other organizations. I chose Marketing because I always wanted my career to be fun and versatile, I wouldn’t want to do the same thing every day, and I feel that marketing is the opposite! Social media is a very big influence on the things we buy, with the right marketing techniques you could get people to buy anything. I think it’s so fun to dig deep and get creative and I am very excited to do that for the rest of my life!
