I Joined the Air Force at 20 years old, had my 21st birthday in boot camp. I originally joined for a special ops jobs but I had an injury that prevented me from finishing it. I was switched into a medical field as a aerospace medical technician. I worked at an hospital for 6 weeks in various roles and seen a lot of interesting things. The biggest take away from that experience was an obese female’s heart had stopped and we had to jump into chest compressions. While I was doing them she grabbed my hand slightly, I was in shock because it is known in the medical industry that chest compressions is the last ditch effort to help someone back. I was the one doing them and she came back it felt amazing.
