I began working at Olly’s Shoes when I was 16 years old as a sales associate. Working with the company for 5 years and eventually being promoted to shift supervisor I remained with the company until they filed for bankruptcy and closed all of their locations.
In the summer of 2016 I was hired at Victoria’s Secret to help them with stockout. During my interview I was told that typically employees are hired as seasonal unless proven otherwise. Quickly making an impression on management I was one of the seasonal employees that were kept for regular employment. In addition, assistant manager who was in charge of sales promoted to me within a month from a general associate to the PINK sales floor. This was huge because I would begin making commission off of my sales. Instantly making an impact on the sales floor and earning recognition from the district manager. Working at Victoria’s Secret gave me immense confidence in my abilities in not just sales, but business overall.
