My First Year as A Football Coach

This past Fall, I had the opportunity to help out the Interboro High School Freshman football team as an assistant coach. As a long time former player for Interboro and fan of the game I was extremely excited about my opportunity to volunteer my time to help give this young man some guidance as they enter High School. I learned a lot about being patient when dealing with younger boys since they can be very immature and out of control at a time. Once the boys understood what the coaches were preaching to them during practice we were able to dominate teams and win games having a 7-1 record at the end of the season. I was glad I had the opportunity to coach these young men, but I wish them the best of luck on there level up to varsity!
